A final presentation was made to Healdsburg’s City Council on the concept plans for the roundabout and associated public realm improvements.  The Council unanimously approved the project to proceed into Construction Documentation.

Public Open House
April 10, 2015   1:00-4:00 PM
206 Healdsburg Avenue

A ‘drop in’ open house was held for three hours in the storefront adjoining the proposed Roundabout.  Plans, design imagery and a scale model was shared with over 35 people that took time to drop in and ask questions, learn more about the improvements and share their thoughts on materials, landscape and public amenities that they would like to see as part of the improvements.

Healdsburg’s Design Character and What it Means for Healdsburg Avenue
This session will focus on what makes Healdsburg special from a design perspective – architecture, landscape, urbanism and sense of place.

Community Input: Using a workshop format attendees will be invited to help define the essence of Healdsburg, so our design team can incorporate these elements in future design solutions for Healdsburg Avenue.

October 29th 6:00 – 8:00pm
Roundabout Facts & Myths
This session will bring in national experts who have developed many of the roundabout solutions across the United States to explain how they work, what has been learned, and what opportunities exist for Healdsburg.

Community Input: A question and answer period will provide an opportunity for community members to address issues associated with the future design and how it fits into Healdsburg.

The Roundabout process has included a number of public outreach efforts including three public meetings in the Fall of 2014. You can review the meeting presentation material for each previous workshop from the links below.

October 2nd 6:00 – 8:00pm
